We’re a small, forward-thinking charity which believes in giving Syrians a hand up, not a handout. We’re providing a school for 200 Syrian refugee children, vital healthcare to a community of 50,000 people in north-east Syria, and delivering prosthetics to amputees in north-west Syria. We are here for as long as we are needed.
For over a decade, we’ve been on an extraordinary journey which all started with four friends in Damascus. What began as a peaceful response to conflict has evolved into a powerful mission. We began at our kitchen table in 2012, inviting friends to enjoy Syrian food, and help raise money for our friends in Syria. Today, we continue to take action, and have raised over £8 million for humanitarian aid.
We partner with local Syrian-led organisations to provide the support and aid.
Action Syria is run by the team in London and governed by its Board of Trustees.
