Seasonal Challenges

Taking part in an Action Syria Challenge doesn’t have to be difficult! Our seasonal challenges are designed to be realistic, convenient and sustainable. Whether you go solo or with friends and family, this one’s all about doing what works for you.

This spring, we're challenging you to run a total of 100km. Find out more below!

What is a seasonal challenge?

Whether it’s walking, running, swimming or cycling, taking part in a seasonal challenge means you can complete the challenge your own way, and at your own pace.

Every few months, we’ll be promoting a different challenge for you to get involved in. Some might fit into your routine seamlessly, while others might encourage you to try something totally new — you never know, you might find a new hobby along the way!

Seasonal challenges enable you to meet your personal fitness goals all whilst supporting Action Syria’s vital work to ensure that Syrian communities have the medical care and education they need.

Run 100km this spring

Between March and May, we’re challenging you to Run 100km in Spring — that’s two 4km runs per week during the 13 weeks! This one can be completed at your own pace and in your own time, all while fundraising to support Action Syria’s vital work.

Or, you could set your own running challenge, like a step challenge or a distance target. However you choose to participate, your fundraising will help keep our programmes running and allow us to respond when emergencies strike.

There’s no fee for taking part in our seasonal challenge — all you have to do is collect donations through an online JustGiving page. All the information you need is in our fundraising pack, making the process simple and easy.
