This week only (27 November – 4 December 2025), your donations to Action Syria’s Carols campaign will be doubled at no extra cost to you!

We’ve secured match funding, meaning any funds raised online up to £25,000 during the week will be matched by our generous pledgers, raising a total of £50,000.

We’re asking you to put Syria on your gift list this Christmas to help us reach our target.

Marking 10 years of support for Syrian communities

This year, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Action Syria’s Carol Concert, previously Singing for Syrians, raising funds to support our work with Syrian communities. While we dream of a world where that  work is no longer needed, the humanitarian crisis continues, exacerbated by regional instability and new waves of displacement.

Rose Essam, CEO of Action Syria, said: “16.7 million people in Syria need humanitarian aid. The recent escalation in violence across Lebanon and its spillover effects on Syrian communities remind us that the emergency is far from over. This concert is a chance to stand with millions of Syrians who continue to face the unimaginable.”

Funds raised will help support:

  • Emergency aid: Essentials like hygiene kits, mattresses, and food for those fleeing the violence in Lebanon.
  • Education: Supporting children in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley to access education, even during the current crisis in the country.
  • Health: Providing essential care to communities in northern Syria, including salaries for 22 medical staff and treating 3,000 patients monthly.
  • Prosthetics: Restoring dignity and mobility to those with limb differences in northern Syria.

Responding to a new crisis in Lebanon

The conflict in Lebanon has reached unprecedented levels. Since September 2024, over 1,600 Israeli strikes have hit cities, towns, and villages, causing massive destruction. More than 200,000 people have been forced to leave their homes, and thousands have fled to Syria.

Lebanon’s infrastructure has been badly damaged, with schools, medical centers, and water systems destroyed. This has left over 250,000 people without basic services.

Rose Essam emphasised: “We are working with partners like SAWA to provide urgent assistance to displaced and wounded families in the Bekaa Valley. The scale of need is immense. Please donate now to help us respond to this crisis and continue our long-term work supporting Syrian communities.”

Donate today

This is your chance to double your impact. Donate now to support vital health, education, and humanitarian efforts. Together, we can provide hope and dignity to those in greatest need.

Match funding runs until Wednesday 4 December.
