Thanks to you, Aleppo, north-west Syria, now has its first and only physical therapy department for inpatients, providing vital medical services for those who have been injured by conflict and trauma.
How? Inspired by the success of our prosthetics project with our partner, PAC, the World Health Organization (WHO) have decided to fund the department, providing the services to make a life-changing difference to its patients.
This is a great example of the power we have as a small and nimble organisation, pioneering the way for effective aid delivery. We work with local partners to address the greatest needs on the ground, ensuring aid gets to those who need it most. Working together we have innovated and unlocked impact far greater than the sum of two halves.
