We’re a small, forward-thinking charity which believes in giving Syrians a hand up, not a handout. We're teaching 80 Syrian refugee children and delivering prosthetics to amputees in north-west Syria. As Syria begins to rebuild, we’re here for as long as we’re needed.

SAWA for Development and Aid (SAWA) is a Civil Society Organization, founded in 2011 as a response to the arrival of the first 40 Syrian families displaced from Syria into the North of Lebanon. SAWA works to maintain individuals’ right to live in dignity and freedom, and to be active individuals in their communities.
