On Tuesday 8 December, join us for an unforgettable evening of music, reflection and solidarity at Action Syria Carols 2026, held at the magnificent St Bartholomew the Great, London’s oldest surviving church. At this years’ service, exactly two years on from the fall of the Assad regime, we’re coming together to stand with Syrian communities — beyond conflict and towards recovery.
Now in its 12th year, Action Syria Carols brings together voices from across the UK in support of Syrian communities, using the power of music to take action to support lasting recovery.
Proceeds from the service will support trusted Syrian-led organisations – who understand the needs of their communities best – to deliver vital aid where it’s needed most.
Since 2012, we’ve stood alongside Syrian communities through devastating conflict and displacement. Now, as Syrians begin the long and complex journey to recovery, our commitment remains the same: to stand with Syrian communities for as long as we are needed – staying the course, even when the world moves on.
Right now, the needs on the ground remain urgent. Over 2 million children in Syria are still out of school and nearly 15.8 million people require urgent healthcare assistance. As Syrian communities look towards the possibility of building a more just, inclusive and prosperous society for all, continuing to improve access to education and healthcare will be essential.
Communities who have already endured so much need sustained support to rebuild with health, opportunity and hope. This magical evening will help raise vital funds to respond to those needs.
Our 12th annual carol service will feature celebrity readings, musical performances, and of course, candlelit carols – led by the St Barts’ choir. Planning is well underway and this years’ service is shaping up to be a special one, with guests including actor Toby Jones and writer Christy Lefteri, who’s moving novel, The Beekeeper of Aleppo, has raised vital awareness of the ongoing human impact of the Syrian conflict.
After the service, enjoy a festive reception of Middle Eastern-inspired bowl food by Khayo, served alongside seasonal drinks.
Tickets will be available to purchase here from mid-October. And, if you’re unable to make it to London, we’ll also be livestreaming the service so that you can join in wherever you are.
More than just a carol service, it’s a night to stand in solidarity, to be inspired, and to come together to make a lasting difference where it’s needed most. Every ticket sold, candle lit and carol sung helps us take action to support lasting recovery for Syrian communities.
